How youll contribute

• A Respiratory Therapist who excels in this role:

• Delivers routine therapy as delegated by a therapist.

• Responds to codes and calls for emergent assistance. Assesses patient condition and delivers appropriate treatment.

• Monitors records and communication patient condition.

• Educates the patient and family about the patients illness and provides information about community support groups and other resources.

• Monitors receives stocks and distributes respiratory care supplies and medical gas cylinders.

• Maintains storage areas with required supply levels and equipment.

• Disassembles cleans and sterilizes equipment and perform preventative maintenance and calibration of machines.

• Associates degree

• (BLS) Basic Life Support required one month from hire/transfer date(ACLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support six months from hire/transfer date; (PALS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support six months from hire/transfer date NRP
