About the Role
You will be responsible for the end-to-end preparation and production of a wide range of baked products ensuring consistency quality and efficiency in all aspects of the baking process.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing mixing kneading proving shaping and baking a variety of breads rolls pastries and other baked goods
Following standard recipes while also contributing to product development and improvements
Monitoring oven temperatures and baking times to ensure consistent product quality
Checking the quality of raw ingredients and finished products
Operating and maintaining baking equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Ensuring all products meet presentation and quality standards
Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with food safety regulations
Managing stock levels ordering ingredients and minimising wastage
Working collaboratively with team members to meet production targets
Requirements
Certificate III in Baking or relevant qualification or at least 23 years of relevant work experience
Strong knowledge of baking techniques dough handling and fermentation processes
Ability to work early mornings weekends and in a high-volume environment
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
