Job Summary
- Design deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS Azure or GCP.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools like Terraform CloudFormation or Pulumi.
- Monitor system performance availability and security using tools like Prometheus Grafana Datadog or AWS CloudWatch.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with minimal downtime; lead incident response and post-mortem analysis.
- Enforce security best practices and compliance standards across cloud environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and deployment efficiency.
- Maintain documentation for cloud architecture runbooks and operational procedures.
- Participate in capacity planning and cost optimization initiatives to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies trends and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field; relevant certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Azure DevOps Engineer or equivalent) are highly preferred.
- 25 years of hands-on experience in cloud operations DevOps or systems engineering.
- Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS Azure or GCP) with demonstrated experience in managing compute storage networking and security services.
- Strong scripting and programming skills in Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible Chef or Puppet.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts including DNS load balancing firewalls and VPCs.
- Experience with observability and logging tools (e.g. ELK Stack Fluentd Splunk).
- Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g. SOC 2 ISO 27001 GDPR).
- Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
