Job Summary
- Design and implement scalable machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions to solve complex business and technical problems.
- Extract clean and preprocess large diverse datasets from multiple sources using SQL Python and data pipeline tools.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends patterns and anomalies and communicate findings to stakeholders through visualizations and reports.
- Develop and maintain data models algorithms and statistical frameworks using Python R or other relevant tools.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate models into production systems and ensure model performance scalability and reliability.
- Stay current with advancements in data science AI and machine learning and apply emerging techniques to enhance existing solutions.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of data science projectsfrom problem definition and hypothesis testing to model deployment and monitoring.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing through documentation internal workshops and peer reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Physics Engineering or a related quantitative field.
- 25 years of hands-on experience in data science machine learning or a related technical role within a technology-driven environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL; experience with R is a plus.
- Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g. Scikit-learn TensorFlow PyTorch) and statistical modeling techniques.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or Matplotlib/Seaborn.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure) and big data technologies (e.g. Spark Hadoop) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical insights into business value for non-technical audiences.
- Experience in scientific computing simulation or data-driven R&D is a significant advantage
