We are seeking a highly skilled Aeronautical / Industrial Designer with 35 years of experience in aerospace or high-technology product design. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end design of aeronautical systems and components with a strong focus on aerodynamics structural integrity manufacturability and aesthetics particularly for UAVs aircraft components or advanced defense/aerospace platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceptualize design and develop aeronautical products and components from concept to production
  
• Create industrial design concepts with strong emphasis on form function and aerodynamics
  
• Develop detailed 3D CAD models assemblies and technical drawings
  
• Collaborate with aerodynamics structures avionics and manufacturing teams
  
• Perform design optimization considering weight strength thermal behavior and manufacturability
  
• Conduct DFMEA tolerance analysis and material selection
  
• Support prototype development testing and design iterations
  
• Ensure designs comply with aerospace standards safety norms and regulatory requirements
  
• Document design processes and maintain configuration control
  

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Aeronautical Engineering Industrial Design Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  
• 35 years of relevant experience in aeronautical / aerospace / UAV / advanced engineering products
  
• Strong understanding of aerodynamics aircraft structures and industrial design principles
  
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as CATIA SolidWorks NX Fusion 360 or similar
  
• Experience with composite materials lightweight structures and aerospace-grade materials
  
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC composites additive manufacturing sheet metal)
  
• Ability to interpret and create GD&T-compliant drawings
  

PREFERRED SKILLS (GOOD TO HAVE):

• Experience in UAV / Drone / Aerospace defense projects
  
• Exposure to CFD / FEA tools (ANSYS Abaqus Fluent etc.)
  
• Knowledge of DO-160 MIL-STD or aerospace certification processes
  
• Hands-on experience with prototyping and testing
  
• Strong visual design sense and attention to detail
