Job Summary

We are hiring across multiple levels (Team Manager Team Lead SME and SPE) within Life & Annuity Operations. This role supports end-to-end processing across Death Claims Payouts Annuitization Policy Servicing and Surrender/Liquidation functions. Depending on the level responsibilities range from transaction processing and subject matter expertise to team leadership and strategic oversight.

  • Partial/Full Surrenders & Withdrawals
  • Regulatory Compliance (Taxation Reg 60 Disclosures)

Role-Based Responsibilities

1. Team Manager

  • Lead multiple teams across functions within Life & Annuity operations.
  • Own end-to-end delivery SLA adherence and operational excellence.
  • Drive strategy process improvements and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage escalations risk compliance and audit readiness.
  • Mentor Team Leads and build leadership pipeline.

2. Team Lead

  • Manage a team handling death claims payouts or servicing processes.
  • Ensure daily operations meet SLA quality and productivity targets.
  • Handle complex cases and provide guidance to team members.
  • Support training performance management and reporting.
  • Act as a bridge between Team Manager and operations team.

3. Subject Matter Expert (SME)

  • Act as the go-to expert for process knowledge and issue resolution.
  • Support complex transactions in:
    • Death claims processing
    • Annuitization and benefit calculations
    • Pension and payout processing
    • Surrenders and liquidation
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in training knowledge transfer and process documentation.
  • Drive process improvements and support audits.

4. Senior Process Executive (SPE)

  • Perform end-to-end transaction processing with high accuracy.
  • Handle:
    • Death claims intake and processing
    • Benefit payments and continuation
    • Policy servicing updates
    • Partial/full withdrawals and surrenders
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs compliance and documentation standards.
  • Escalate discrepancies and support issue resolution.
  • Maintain data accuracy and process integrity.


Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Life & Annuity / Insurance / Financial Services.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Death claims and benefit payments
    • Annuities and annuitization
    • Pension products (401(k) 403(b))
    • Surrenders withdrawals and payouts
  • Understanding of regulatory and taxation requirements.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Level-Based Experience Guidelines

  • SPE: 13 years of relevant experience
  • SME: 36 years with strong domain expertise
  • Team Lead: 58 years with team handling experience
  • Team Manager: 8 years with multi-team leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Business or related field
