Shape strategic decision-making within a leading financial services organization by transforming complex information into clear compelling executive narratives. This hybrid role is focused on high-impact communication presentation development and executive storytelling enabling senior leadership to communicate with confidence and clarity.
What is in it for you:
Salaried: $58-68 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $72-82 per hour.
6-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Remote work on Monday and Friday.
On-site presence Tuesday to Thursday in Toronto.
Responsibilities:
Create clear compelling and visually engaging executive-level presentations for senior leaders steering committees and cross-functional forums.
Develop strategic narratives talking points and written communications that convey insights recommendations and program updates.
Translate complex topics including risk process improvements KPIs and strategy into concise executive-friendly materials.
Prepare dashboards scorecards and performance reports for leadership review.
Maintain standardized templates visual assets and communication frameworks to ensure consistency and quality.
Collaborate with stakeholders across risk procurement compliance and operations to gather inputs and produce executive-ready deliverables.
Facilitate meetings document outcomes and track follow-up actions.
Support vendor risk assessments and compliance documentation as required.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelors degree in Business Communications Information Systems or a related field.
8 years of experience in executive communications business analysis content strategy or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to create executive-level presentations and written communications for C-suite and senior stakeholders.
Strong human-centered design mindset with the ability to tailor content to senior executive needs.
Persuasive storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex topics and influence decision-making.
Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to understand context including risk strategy and KPIs and translate it into clear messaging.
Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel with experience in data visualization and reporting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Portfolio or samples of past executive-level presentations or communications are strongly preferred.
Experience in financial services insurance or other regulated industries is an asset.
Exposure to risk assessment concepts compliance frameworks or vendor management is an asset.
UX/UI or human-centered design background is an asset.
Experience as a technical writer content manager or corporate communications specialist is an asset.
Familiarity with tools such as Figma Miro or similar visual communication platforms is an asset.
