Electrical Engineer

Serpa Packaging Solutions is looking for an Electrical Drafter to join our growing organization! As the Electrical Drafter with Serpa you will support the electrical engineering team by preparing accurate and detailed electrical schematics and related documentation. This position plays a key role in translating design concepts and customer requirements into clear code-compliant technical drawings used in the construction of our automated equipments.

Requirements:

• Work with Senior Engineer to design electrical and pneumatic schematic control panel layouts compile purchased parts list according to department specifications.
• Work closely with project teams and participate in activities related to the development of new projects and follow project complete life cycle
• Ability to design electrical and pneumatic schematics compile purchased parts lists
• Work closely with Mechanical Engineering Manager Assembly Service and all other departments staff project teams and participate in activities related to the development of new projects
• Determine customer needs as well as predetermination of any needs that the project team may have throughout all phases of the project life cycle

Desired Requirements:

• AutoCAD experience
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering a related field or a combination of education and/or experience in machine controls automation
• Minimum of 1 year experience in machine controls automation
• General knowledge of:
  • Ac/Dc Ciricuits
  • PLC
  • HMI
• Preferred skills:
  • AutoCAD Electrical
  • UL Codes
    • Electrical Hardware circuit design
  • Mechanical aptitude and self-motivated
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to perform job duties that require standing kneeling crouching twisting upper body working in cramped spaces.
  • Physical effort that may include the lifting of supplies and materials that weigh up to 20 pounds.

Base Salary Range: $70000 - $120000
