Job Summary
Are you a skilled Diesel Mechanic with a passion for diagnosing and repairing diesel engines Our team in Tempe AZ is looking to hire an experienced Lead Diesel Mechanic to keep our fleet of heavy-duty trucks running at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
Routine Maintenance & Repairs: Perform oil changes filter replacements and comprehensive system diagnostics on diesel engines.
Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
Component Repair & Replacement: Repair or replace faulty componentsincluding fuel systems brakes and electrical systemsto ensure optimal performance.
Conduct thorough inspections and performance tests on vehicles and equipment to verify they are in proper working order.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure work environment.
Qualifications
3 - 5 years as a diesel mechanic with proven expertise in diesel engine systems and components.
Demonstrated ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment.
Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Required Skills:
Must have strong management/supervisory organizational and computer skills. Must have a minimum of 3 years diesel mechanic experience and one-year Supervisor/Lead Mechanic experience working in the Transportation industry. Must have strong management/supervisory organizational and computer skills.
