Job Summary
MasterTech is on the search for an experienced Field Service Mechanic in the Petersburg VA area.
The successful Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance diagnostics and repair of a diverse line of diesel trucks and equipment. This is a Remote/Resident Field Mechanic opening meaning service vehicles will be taken home and Mechanics will be dispatched remotely.
Compensation:
- $30.00 - $40.00/hour. Higher wages available based on experience.
- $1500.00 sign on bonus available.

Shift:
- Day shift Monday to Friday. 7AM start time. Overtime available.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic (diesel trucks trailers heavy equipment etc.).
- Experience working in the field.
- Able to work independently.
- Good understanding of mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Education from an accredited Technical School is preferred not required.
- Valid drivers license in good standing required CDL preferred not required.
- Able to pass pre-employment background checks.
- Has basic to full set of hand tools.
