Boothby Therapy Services is hiring a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide pediatric occupational therapy services to students in grades K8 in Tamworth New Hampshire. This is a part-time (20 hours/week) position with an immediate start in a collaborative school / special education setting.

Occupational Therapist (OT) Responsibilities
- Provide school-based occupational therapy services to K8 students
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and services
- Deliver direct therapy services (individual and small group sessions)
- Support students with:
- Fine motor skills and handwriting
- Sensory processing and sensory integration
- Executive functioning and organization
- Activities of daily living (ADLs) and classroom participation
- Collaborate with teachers special education staff speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and physical therapists (PTs)
- Recommend and implement classroom accommodations adaptive equipment and assistive technology
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation progress notes and compliance records
- Communicate effectively with families and caregivers
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
- Active New Hampshire Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility)
- Experience or interest in pediatrics school-based therapy or special education preferred
- Strong communication organization and collaboration skills
