THE OPPORTUNITY

Americas Finance Team is looking to hire a talented accountant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct monthly/quarterly/annual book close including (1) posting month-end journal entries and (2) preparing balance reconciliation
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual consolidation package and variance analysis which are reported to HQ (Seoul Korea)
• Review and approve payment requests including invoice corporate credit card and reimbursement transactions
• Reconcile intercompany transactions & balances and make bills
• Reconcile physical assets to book record
• Implement and maintain entity-wide or finance-specific systems/tools (Kissflow SAP Concur etc)
• Assist with annual budgeting and conduct budget vs actual analysis
• Respond to financial statement audit/review and tax filings by accounting firm
• Handle technical accounting matters with accounting firm and HQ
• Manage vendor master including their tax form
• Prepare/review daily cash balance report and bank reconciliations
• Conduct vendor payment through SAP
• Keep track of employee fringe benefits
• Work on internal procedures/controls in relation to procurement financial reporting and treasury as required by HQ SOX
• Perform ad hoc tasks as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting at private companies or audit at public accounting firms
• Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting competencies
• Excellent in Microsoft Excel
• SAP experience is a plus
• Team player and detail oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fast learning agility and adaptability to change
• Highly organized and diligent with excellent time-management skills and can-do attitude
• Bilingual in English & Korean; able to communicate with HQ office located in Korea
