Position Summary: Manages client needs and responsibilities along with the profitability and growth for an average of 3-5 accounts for West Cary Group.
Role Qualifications:
- Must execute strategic and tactical planning to meet client needs
- Must maintain project budgets and administration to achieve account profitability
- Must contribute to new business opportunities including idea cultivation research and proposal preparation
Position Responsibilities:
- Oversee strategic planning and creative development/execution
- Establish and manage program budgets and timelines to ensure overall profitability
- Develop new opportunities to grow each clients business through proactive relationship management word-of-mouth referrals and going above and beyond surface expectations
- Collaborate consistently and productively with creative and digital teams to deliver high-quality on-time marketing and communications solutions
- Awareness of marketing trends and innovations
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A Bachelors degree in Marketing Advertising Public Relations or related field or equivalent job experience
- 4-6 years of advertising agency or corporate marketing experience and a solid grasp of marketing and advertising fundamentals
- Experience with digital and traditional marketing channels (digital media social blogs print direct mail TV radio point of sale). Plus a demonstrated interest in performance marketing and driving outcomes for your clients business.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentation/pitch skills
- Proactive solutions-oriented attitude
- Flexibility (e.g. the ability to handle an account where deadlines are tight and client preferences may change suddenly and on short notice)
- The ability to both work independently and function as a high-performing team member
- At the top of your game constantly curious always learning and motivated to deliver the best creative product
- Commitment to bringing consistent thought leadership in support of each clients marketing and communication needs
- Relationship management project management or process management experience is a must
