The Groundskeeper maintains outdoor spaces by mowing lawns trimming plants and keeping landscapes clean and well-kept. They ensure the property is safe attractive and properly cared for year-round by handling routine maintenance and seasonal tasks.

What Youll Do

• Complies with established policies and procedures and maintains established standards and practices including the Compliance Program/Code of Conduct.
• Follows Residents Rights policies at all times.
• Attends all in-services and training sessions relevant to the position.
• Comes to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrates dependability and punctuality.
• Performs equipment maintenance adjustments and repairs to include sharpening mower blades oil changes cleaning belt changes etc.
• Mows all turf areas.
• Plants trees shrubs flowers bulbs and seeds turf.
• Spray herbicides and pesticides on turf and bed areas under direct supervision of the supervisor.
• Trims walkways and mulches beds.
• Prunes and trims trees shrubs and flowers.
• Assists with snow removal.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What Were Looking For

• 3 years of landscaping experience.
• Experience with variety of equipment including Mowers Trimmers Chainsaws Rototillers Trucks Snow Removal Equipment
• Treats all clients family members and peers with dignity and respect.
• Familiarity with and the ability to operate all advanced grounds equipment.
• Possesses basic mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance.
• Exercises good judgment works independently follows directions well and cooperates well with others.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Assists with special events or functions that are held on the campus.

Additional Information

This position is full time Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
