Job Summary
Supply Chain Planning Manager
Position Summary
We are looking for a Supply Chain Planning Manager to manage production and inventory planning across multiple sites in North America. This role focuses on ensuring product availability while balancing demand capacity and inventory levels in a seasonal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage production plans across multiple manufacturing sites
- Align production schedules with forecasted demand and seasonal peaks
- Work closely with plant managers to optimize capacity and efficiency
- Oversee inventory planning across multiple warehouses
- Set and manage safety stock levels and reorder points
- Balance inventory levels with service goals and cost control
- Partner with sales marketing and finance on demand planning
- Support monthly demand planning processes
- Turn forecasts into production and distribution plans
- Manage product flow across the U.S. Mexico and Canada
- Account for lead times logistics and cross-border movement
- Optimize warehouse stocking based on regional demand
- Plan for peak seasonal demand and high-volume periods
- Identify and reduce risks in supply chain operations
- Use ERP/MRP systems for planning and tracking
- Monitor KPIs such as fill rate forecast accuracy and on-time delivery
- Drive continuous improvements across supply chain processes
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Operations or a related field
- 510 years of experience in supply chain production planning or manufacturing operations
- Experience managing multi-site and/or multi-country planning environments
- Strong understanding of seasonal and demand-driven planning
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- ERP/MRP system experience required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
