Non Medical Caregiver

Village Caregiving - Clarksburg is seeking compassionate and dedicated Non Medical Caregivers to join our team in Clarksburg WV. In this role you will provide essential support and companionship to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities helping them maintain their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

We offer flexible schedules full or part time competitive pay $12-14 per/hr and an amazing opportunity to work with a compassionate team!!

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and hygiene
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Help with meal preparation and feeding
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning laundry and organizing
• Assist with mobility and transferring clients safely
• Monitor clients daily activities and report any changes in condition to supervisors
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Follow all safety and care protocols to ensure client well-being

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous caregiving or related experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy
• Reliable transportation to and from client locations in Clarksburg WV
• Ability to pass background checks and any required screenings
• Must be able to perform physical tasks related to caregiving
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help clients take prescribed medication

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctors appointments walks etc.)

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene

• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises

• Do the clients shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed

• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients cant complete on their own including preparing meals

• Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers nurses doctors and family members

• Report any unusual incidents to nurses doctors and family members

• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous caregiver experience preferred but not required

• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner

• Outstanding communication time management and interpersonal skills

• Physical endurance to complete required tasks

• High school diploma or equivalent
