Director of Enrollment Services

Job Summary
The Director is responsible for operational readiness policy compliance data integrity service excellence and institutional alignment to remove barriers to enrollment improve student yield and promote persistence.
Serving as the senior operational leader for Enrollment Services the Director collaborates closely with Academic Affairs Financial Aid Business Office Student Affairs K14/dual enrollment partners and executive leadership to ensure a seamless student-centered and equity-driven enrollment experience.
Major Responsibilities
Strategic Enrollment Leadership
Develop and implement comprehensive enrollment operations strategies aligned with institutional growth access and retention goals.
Provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the onboarding enrollment and transition of dual credit and early college students.
Develop and implement a comprehensive matriculation strategy for dual credit and early college students.
Establish measurable enrollment targets and performance benchmarks.
Use enrollment data trends and forecasting models to inform decision-making and resource allocation.
Identify systemic enrollment barriers and implement scalable process improvements.
Manage and respond to student escalations by assessing concerns coordinating with relevant departments and implementing timely solutions to resolve issues while maintaining a positive student-centered experience.
Enrollment Operations & Case Management Oversight
Oversee structured outreach workflows for newly admitted students to ensure timely completion of enrollment milestones.
Ensure service standards for caseload management documentation and CRM usage are consistently followed.
Monitor enrollment pipeline progression from admission through census.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and student yield.
Collaborate with institutional partners to strengthen and manage dual credit early college and K14 enrollment operations.
Assessment & Academic Readiness Operations
Ensure assessment processes align with institutional policy and state requirements.
Oversee application of assessment waivers placement procedures and documentation standards.
Partner with Academic Affairs to ensure placement results are seamlessly integrated with advising strategies and student support services.
Financial Aid & Business Office Collaboration
Provide leadership-level coordination with Financial Aid and Business
Office teams to minimize enrollment barriers.
Monitor trends in FAFSA completion verification delays account holds and payment plan participation.
Establish clear referral escalation and communication protocols between departments.
Office Operations Events & Outreach
Oversee front desk operations customer service standards and daily service flow.
Direct staffing and logistics for enrollment events orientations and campus-wide initiatives.
Support dual credit early college and K14 enrollment operations in coordination with institutional partners.
Compliance Equity & Institutional Engagement
Ensure all enrollment operations comply with FERPA accreditation standards and state/federal regulations.
Participate in executive planning commencement and major institutional events.
Perform additional duties assigned in support of institutional effectiveness.
Supervision Received: Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs
Supervision Given: Assistant Directors Recruiters Enrollment Specialists Front Desk Staff and other assigned personnel
Compensation: $59500-$62500
Education and Experience
Required
Bachelors degree required and Masters degree preferred in higher education administration business administration or related field.
Minimum of 35 years of progressive leadership experience in enrollment management admissions registrar services or student services.
Demonstrated experience managing operational workflows and cross-functional teams.
Strong administrative analytical and technology skills (CRM systems).
Ability to exercise independent judgment related to institutional policies and regulatory requirements.
Experience leading enrollment growth or retention initiatives.
