About the Role

You kept equipment running in demanding environments. Now put those skills to work on the civilian side.

This hands-on multicraft role is a natural fit for veterans with mechanical aptitude a mission-first mindset and the discipline to keep a production floor running at full tempo. The work is roughly 75% mechanical with a meaningful electrical and electronic controls component supporting a plastics manufacturing facility that runs hard and takes care of its people.

A veteran placed in this role six months ago has already proven himself and moved to 1st shift. Were looking for his replacement.


What Youll Do

  • Perform preventative maintenance repairs and troubleshooting on all facility equipment
  • Respond to production line breakdowns and restore operations with urgency
  • Document completed work including logs data reports and maintenance procedures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production warehouse and quality teams on maintenance needs
  • Maintain shop organization parts inventory and full compliance with safety regulations

Requirements


  • Must have served in the U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.

  • 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician (preferred)
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills including pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Electrical or electronic controls experience
  • Experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
  • Both breakdown and preventative maintenance experience
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics blueprints and electrical diagrams
  • Forklift and scissor lift experience; ability to pass forklift and respirator fit tests
  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment (very hot or very cold)
  • Available for overtime with minimal notice; dependable attendance record
  • Accountable and dependable with a proven track record of owning mistakes and improving
