E&I Supervisor

What Youll Do:

• Supervise and direct all E&I hourly personnel including scheduling performance appraisals and corrective action
  
• Build and manage daily/weekly maintenance schedules assigning work orders to maximize team skill and training
  
• Verify that all safety requirements tools materials and equipment are in place before every job kicks off
  
• Troubleshoot and oversee maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems including ABB DCS and Allen-Bradley PLCs
  
• Lead safety meetings conduct field observations and drive continuous improvement across the crew

Requirements

• Must have served in the U.S. Army U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps U.S. Air Force U.S. Coast Guard U.S. Space Force U.S. Reserves or U.S. National Guard.
  

• 5 years of experience in the pulp and paper industry (or equivalent heavy industrial environment); supervisory experience strongly preferred
  

• Working knowledge of ABB Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Allen-Bradley PLCs
  

• Strong electrical fundamentals with solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  

• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience on E&I and control systems
  

• Experience with electrical systems ranging from 24V to 33000V
  

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and Project; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  

• Self-motivated with a take-charge attitude and strong understanding of personnel management techniques
  

• Willingness to be a hands-on supervisor and be on call approximately once every 45 weeks (after ramp-up)
