Commercial Plumber (Apprentice, Mechanic & Journeyman)

Cedar Park Group is seeking Commercial Plumbers at multiple experience levels for active projects. We are hiring entry-level mid-level and journeyman plumbers with experience in commercial plumbing systems. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to grow within commercial construction while working alongside experienced crews.

Schedule/Shift:
Monday Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Position Overview

The Commercial Plumber will support installation and service work on commercial plumbing systems. Responsibilities will vary based on experience level but include working with piping systems assisting with installations and supporting project completion. Commercial experience is required no residential-only backgrounds.

Levels Hiring

• Entry Level (1 year): Plumbing Service / Junior Technician
• Mid-Level (13 years): Install / Construction Plumber
• Journeyman Level (5 years): Commercial Install Plumber (Onondaga County Journeyman preferred)

Requirements (Mandatory & Desired)

• Minimum 1 year of plumbing experience (commercial required)
• Experience working with:
  • Pex
  • Copper piping
  • PVC drains
  • Sweating pipes
  • Threading and ProPress systems
• Experience working in a commercial setting (no residential-only experience)
• Ability to read basic plans and follow jobsite instructions
• Reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a crew
• OSHA 10 preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Install and support commercial plumbing systems
• Work with copper PEX and PVC piping systems
• Perform pipe cutting threading sweating and connections
• Assist with layout installation and system setup
• Support testing and troubleshooting of plumbing systems
• Follow all jobsite safety procedures and standards
• Maintain a clean safe and organized work area
• Work with the team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
