We are seeking a skilled and reliable Property Maintenance Technician to join our property management this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep routine maintenance and minor repairs across our portfolio of residential and/or commercial properties. You will serve as the primary point of contact for tenant maintenance requests ensuring all issues are resolved quickly and professionally.
Requirements
General Repairs: Perform minor plumbing (fixing leaks unclogging drains) electrical (replacing outlets switches light fixtures) and carpentry tasks (repairing doors fences and cabinets).
Unit Turnovers: Coordinate and perform "make-ready" tasks to prepare vacant units for new tenants including painting drywall repair and appliance testing.
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major repairs. Replace HVAC filters check smoke detectors and inspect roofs/gutters.
Tenant Relations: Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and interact with tenants in a friendly professional manner.
Vendor Coordination: Assist the property manager in obtaining bids and supervising specialized contractors for large-scale or licensed projects.
Emergency Response: Participate in an on-call rotation to handle after-hours maintenance emergencies (e.g. pipe bursts lockouts).
