Compensation: $21.68-$21.68/hour

Tessera is seeking a Skilled and professional Grounds Maintenance Worker with a positive attitude.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintain and repair the grounds up to and around the facilities.
- Perform mowing trimming edging weed and brush control.
- Pick up and remove all rubbish debris and trash (which includes but is not limited to; rocks paper pine cones limbs and other portable objects) within the maintenance area and all trash papers and limbs lodged in shrubs hedges fences and along foundation walls.
- Load large wheel barrels with debris.
- Perform basic maintenance of grounds equipment.
- May operate a tractor and/or mower weed eaters chain saws pressure washer and brush cutters.
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task throughout workday with constant interruptions; Utilize company cell phones. Respond to phone calls promptly.
- Remove snow from walkways driveways roads or parking lots using shovel and snow blower spreads salt on walkways and other areas.
Qualifications:
- 6 months experience in grounds maintenance or prior laborer experience is preferred.
- Work both independently and in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
- Read and understand contract requirements and maps.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- May be required to reach kneel walk stand and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
- Work may require repetitive motion reaching lifting kneeling and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time climbing in and out of a vehicle and up and down stairs may also be required.
- Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
- A valid state drivers license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tesseras insurance.
