Swim&Gym Summer Camp is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Beginner Gymnastics Instructor to join our summer team! This is a fun part-time opportunity to work with children ages 512 in a supportive high-energy camp environment.

Location:
821 S Midvale Blvd Madison WI 53711
(Leased space at Midvale Baptist Church)

Schedule (June 10 August 21):

Mondays & Wednesdays: 9:30 AM 11:30 AM
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 10:00 AM 1:30 PM
Times are approximate and may be adjusted slightly but will remain consistent throughout the summer.
Optional additional hours may be available assisting with field trips (typically Fridays)

What Youll Do:

Lead engaging beginner-level gymnastics/tumbling instruction for campers ages 512
Plan and teach lessons for groups of approximately 25 children (split into smaller groups with staff support)
Run 45-minute instructional sessions (56 groups total with two lessons per group each week)
Utilize available equipment such as mats low balance beams a kids kip bar inflatable floor mat and more
Incorporate creative movement and general fitness using additional sports equipment
Work alongside counselors and counselors-in-training to ensure a safe fun and inclusive environment

What Were Looking For:

Experience teaching or coaching beginner gymnastics tumbling or youth fitness
Ability to manage groups of children and keep them engaged
Positive energetic and patient personality
Strong communication and organizational skills
Willingness to collaborate and adapt lesson plans as needed

Since 2003 Swim&Gym Summer Camp has provided hundreds of campers ages 5 to 12 years old the opportunity to develop active skills to last a lifetime. We have watched our campers grow socially emotionally and physically in a safe positive environment. One-week theme sessions providing flexibility to attend camp sessions around summer plans.

Member schools are independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the member school and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this school. All inquiries about employment at these schools should be made directly to the school location and not to US Swim School Association.
