Job Title

About your role:
You will lead the charge in protecting sensitive data and safeguarding our clients information by driving our cybersecurity engineering initiatives. You will be pivotal in designing and implementing advanced security measures ensuring our systems data and infrastructure are resilient to potential threats. Leading a dedicated team of cybersecurity engineers you will collaborate with cross-functional leaders to deploy robust security solutions that meet the highest standards of protection and compliance.

What youll do:

• Provide leadership and strategic direction for cybersecurity engineering efforts across the organization.
• Partner coach and functionally lead Cloud Security engineering development and business teams through collaborative design discussions.
• Assess security vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices across all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Review security data and tool outputs to identify control gaps policy deviations and threats to continuously enhance security controls.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of security processes and protocols.

Experience youll need to have:

• 8 years of experience in cybersecurity.
• 5 years in cloud and enterprise security architecture.
• Demonstrated success leading security architecture for financial services banks or regulated industries.
• Technical expertise in securing GCP AWS Kubernetes (GKE/EKS) Azure cloud networking and Application Security.
• Strong command of cloud-native technologies and SecDevOps practices.
• Experience with regulatory audits and control frameworks (e.g. NIST 800-53 ISO 27001 PCI DSS FFIEC CAT).
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams architecture review boards and strategic planning sessions.
• Ability to develop working relationships and manage multiple activities and changing priorities work under pressure to meet tight deadlines

Experience that would be great to have:

• Experience in the financial services industry
• Google Cloud Security Engineer AWS Security Specialty CISSP CCSP CKA/CKS GCSA CISA CISM or similar certifications

How youll work:

• This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.

Travel:

• Approximately 10% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.

Salary Range

These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey and New York. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
