Program Overview Our IHA Training Program equips aspiring caregivers with the knowledge and practical skills needed to deliver safe compassionate care in home- and community-based settings. Participants complete self-paced online modules followed by a hands-on skills practicum in our training lab.
Key Learning Outcomes
- Fundamentals of personal care safety and infection control
- Assistance with activities of daily living (bathing dressing grooming)
- Proper body mechanics and mobility support
- Effective communication with clients families and clinical teams
- Real-world caregiving practice under the guidance of an experienced instructor
