As a CNC Programmer you will develop test and optimize machining programs to produce high-precision components. This role involves selecting the best programming and machining methods interpreting complex engineering drawings and collaborating with engineering and shop floor teams to meet product requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create test and refine CNC programs for lathes using CAD/CAM software
- Select tooling speeds feeds and fixtures to maximize efficiency and reduce wear
- Interpret technical drawings and apply GD&T for accuracy
- Collaborate with machinists and setup operators to troubleshoot and validate programs
- Identify opportunities to improve cycle times and part quality
Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot G-code and M-code
- Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Solid understanding of tooling and materials
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software
- Experience in CNC programming within a precision manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
