Job Summary
These Co-ops are Full-Time Day shiftDepartment based internship. Incumbent receives academic credit in accordance with school and internship guidelines. Internship provides hands-on learning experience.
Seeking students that are enrolled in Criminal Justice Criminology Psychology and Healthcare.
Are you a college student interested in law enforcement public safety healthcare or mental health This hands-on internship-style opportunity as a Security Officer at Brigham & Womens Hospital gives you real-world experience in one of Bostons leading medical institutions.
Youll be on the front lines of safetygaining invaluable skills in de-escalation communication emergency response and crisis management. Whether youre considering a future in policing hospital administration or social work this role sets you apart.
Duties:
Patrol hospital grounds to prevent theft safety risks and unauthorized activity
Support patients visitors and staff with empathy and professionalism
Respond to incidents and assist in emergency situations
Gain exposure to hospital operations and multidisciplinary teams
Operate real-time security tools: CCTV alarms and access systems
Train in handcuffing defensive tactics and de-escalation strategies
Qualifications
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
