About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Manager to lead and support a portfolio of 68 early learning centres. This is a dynamic leadership role suited to someone passionate about delivering high-quality childcare building strong teams and driving operational excellence across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership coaching and support to Centre Directors to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality education and care
Oversee daily operations across multiple centres ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
Drive occupancy growth financial performance and budget management across the portfolio
Foster a positive culture focused on teamwork professional development and child safety
Conduct regular centre visits audits and performance reviews
Support recruitment onboarding and retention of high-performing teams
Build strong relationships with families communities and key stakeholders
Lead continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organisational goals
About You
Proven experience in a multi-site leadership role within early childhood education (Area Manager Operations Manager or similar)
Strong working knowledge of relevant childcare regulations and quality standards
Demonstrated ability to lead inspire and develop teams
Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving performance
Excellent communication organisational and problem-solving skills
Current Working with Children Check and relevant early childhood qualifications (or willingness to obtain if applicable)
