Job Title: Cashier

Job Overview:

A Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently and accurately while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires attention to detail basic financial handling skills and a friendly approach to customer interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle cash credit and digital payments accurately
  
• Issue receipts refunds and change to customers
  
• Maintain proper records of transactions and daily sales
  
• Ensure the cash counter is balanced at the end of each shift
  
• Assist customers with billing queries and provide product information
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area
  
• Follow company policies for cash handling and fraud prevention
  
• Coordinate with store staff for smooth operations

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum: 10th / 12th / Diploma (any field)
  
• Basic knowledge of billing systems or POS machines
  
• Prior experience as a cashier or in retail (preferred but not mandatory)
