Job Summary
Job Title: Cashier
Location: Singapore
Job Overview:
A Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions efficiently and accurately while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires attention to detail basic financial handling skills and a friendly approach to customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle cash credit and digital payments accurately
- Issue receipts refunds and change to customers
- Maintain proper records of transactions and daily sales
- Ensure the cash counter is balanced at the end of each shift
- Assist customers with billing queries and provide product information
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area
- Follow company policies for cash handling and fraud prevention
- Coordinate with store staff for smooth operations
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum: 10th / 12th / Diploma (any field)
- Basic knowledge of billing systems or POS machines
- Prior experience as a cashier or in retail (preferred but not mandatory)
Key Skills Required:
- Good numerical and calculation skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle cash responsibly
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills:
Good communication skills are essential. Must possess a Two Wheeler and a valid driving license.
Required Education:
Must be a graduate from any stream.
