Job Summary
Job Title: Construction Engineer
Location: Singapore
Job Overview:
A Construction Engineer is responsible for planning coordinating and supervising construction projects to ensure timely completion quality standards and safety compliance. The role involves working closely with project managers site teams contractors and clients to deliver successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan schedule and oversee construction activities at the site
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
- Coordinate with architects consultants subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with local building codes safety regulations and quality standards
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Prepare project reports progress updates and documentation
- Manage material procurement and ensure optimal resource utilization
- Supervise workforce and ensure productivity on-site
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions proactively
- Maintain proper communication with stakeholders and management
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3 to 8 years of experience in construction/project execution
- Experience in residential commercial or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of construction methods materials and regulations
Required Skills:
- Strong project management and coordination skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good communication and team management skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD MS Project or similar tools
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance procedures
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
