Job Summary
Role Overview
We are hiring an FPE Network Engineer for a hands-on first-principles infrastructure and network security role. This is a highly technical position not a management or product role.
You will own the physical network and network security end-to-end for a 200-person Manila office while also designing cloud-to-physical (hybrid) infrastructure for test environments.
This role reports operationally to the Head of Engineering Operations and works directly with the CTO on technical and architectural decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Design build and manage physical network infrastructure (routers switches Wi-Fi ISP connectivity)
Own and manage network security end-to-end including:
VPN configuration
Firewall rules and policies
Web Application Firewall (WAF)
DNS management
SSL certificate provisioning
Ensure compliance with HIPAA/SOC2 standards as an ongoing operational practice
Design and implement hybrid/cloud-to-physical infrastructure for test environments
Monitor troubleshoot and optimize network performance reliability and security
Work closely with leadership on infrastructure and security architecture decisions

Qualifications
Proven experience in designing and managing physical network infrastructure
Hands-on expertise in:
VPNs firewalls WAF DNS SSL
Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices
Experience working in HIPAA or SOC2-compliant environments
Ability to design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Required Skills:
