Job Summary

Business Development Officer (UK Market)

Boomerang BPO is hiring a senior Business Development Officer (BDO) to build and manage a high-quality UK sales pipeline. This role focuses on qualifying opportunities conducting client assessments and shaping commercially sound proposals that are ready for CEO-level negotiation.

The BDO will lead the early and mid stages of the sales cycle including discovery solution design pricing and proposal development ensuring all opportunities are structured validated and aligned to business goals.

Success in this role means consistently delivering qualified proposal-ready deals improving conversion rates and reducing leadership involvement in early-stage sales.

This is a strategic commercially focused role ideal for someone experienced in B2B or enterprise sales with strong consultative selling and pricing expertise.



Requirements

Essential

  • Proven experience in B2B business development or enterprise sales ideally in international markets (UK/EU exposure advantageous)
  • Strong consultative selling and discovery skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Solid commercial acumen including pricing deal structuring and financial understanding
  • Ability to create clear client-ready proposals and presentations
  • Experience managing pipelines and maintaining CRM systems (e.g. Zoho)
  • Confident communicating with C-suite clients in a remote video-led environment
  • High level of ownership accountability and attention to detail

Advantageous

  • Experience in BPO CX (Customer Experience) or professional services
  • Familiarity with FTE/seat-based pricing models
  • Exposure to RFP processes or open-book costing models

  • Required Skills:

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience (Essential) A formal qualification in Information Technology Computer Science Information Systems or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience implementing and configuring Zendesk in a customer service or BPO environment. Strong understanding of CRM systems contact centre operations and CX workflows. Hands-on experience with Zendesk workflows automations triggers macros and omnichannel configuration. Practical exposure to AI-enabled customer service tools including automation and agentassist features. Ability to manage multiple client environments independently. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Zendesk Certifications (e.g. Zendesk Support Administrator Zendesk Consultant). Experience implementing or managing Zendesk AI bots or agent-tier automation. Background working in a BPO contact centre or digital transformation environment. Experience with analytics reporting and performance optimisation. Exposure to remote or distributed team environments. Key Skills & Attributes Strong analytical and problemsolving capability. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. A clientcentred mindset with a passion for optimising customer experiences. Comfortable navigating fastpaced dynamic techdriven environments.
