Our Cape Joy team is looking for a Guest Relations Officer you will play an integral role in our daily operations ensuring every guest experience is seamless and memorable from arrival to departure. Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff to ensure rooms and facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
- Prepare and serve breakfast for guests in the mornings ensuring quality and attention to detail.
- Manage reservations and guest communications using Nightbridge.
- Handle invoices and basic financial administration with Zoho Books.
- Assist guests with queries requests and local recommendations to enhance their stay.
- Arrange guest transport (e.g. airport transfers local travel) with trusted service providers.
- Assist in marketing and sales initiatives (social media marketing promotions and advertisements).
Requirements
- Must have own reliable transport to and from work.
- Hospitality graduates or students with at least 6 months practical training in a hotel or guest house environment.
- Experience with Nightbridge and Zoho Books will be a strong advantage.
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable detail-oriented and committed to providing top-quality service.
- Flexible and willing to work shifts.
- Best suited for candidates residing in Plattekloof or surrounding areas.
