Our Cape Joy team is looking for a Guest Relations Officer you will play an integral role in our daily operations ensuring every guest experience is seamless and memorable from arrival to departure. Key responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff to ensure rooms and facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
Prepare and serve breakfast for guests in the mornings ensuring quality and attention to detail.
Manage reservations and guest communications using Nightbridge.
Handle invoices and basic financial administration with Zoho Books.
Assist guests with queries requests and local recommendations to enhance their stay.
Arrange guest transport (e.g. airport transfers local travel) with trusted service providers.
Assist in marketing and sales initiatives (social media marketing promotions and advertisements).
Requirements
Must have own reliable transport to and from work.
Hospitality graduates or students with at least 6 months practical training in a hotel or guest house environment.
Experience with Nightbridge and Zoho Books will be a strong advantage.
Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Reliable detail-oriented and committed to providing top-quality service.
Flexible and willing to work shifts.
Best suited for candidates residing in Plattekloof or surrounding areas.
