Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver comprehensive standards-aligned lesson plans that promote literacy critical thinking and effective communication skills.
- Assess student performance through formative and summative evaluations providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students including those with special educational requirements.
- Foster a positive inclusive and engaging classroom culture that encourages participation curiosity and respect.
- Integrate technology and multimedia resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues department heads and administrators to align curriculum goals and support school-wide initiatives.
- Participate in professional development opportunities curriculum reviews and academic planning sessions.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share student progress and support home-school collaboration.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in English Education or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Valid teaching certification or license in English education as required by Karnataka regulations.
- Minimum of $X years of teaching experience in K12 education with demonstrated success in English language and literature instruction.
- Strong command of grammar vocabulary literary analysis and writing pedagogy.
- Proven ability to design and implement differentiated instruction and culturally responsive teaching practices.
- Proficiency in using digital learning platforms (e.g. Google Classroom LMS systems) and educational technology tools.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to student success ethical teaching practices and continuous improvement.
