Were looking for a Commercial Manager for our public sector client on an initial 12-month contract (Inside IR35) paying up to 725 per day (UMB) with the potential to extend up to 2 years subject to performance.
The role is UK Wide with Leeds preferred as a base location. You will work on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week on-site. Workshops will require occasional travel to London or Leeds approximately once a month which counts towards your on-site percentage.
The successful Commercial Manager will be an experienced procurement professional who is comfortable leading complex commercial activity within a public sector environment. You will deliver end-to-end procurement advise senior stakeholders and drive strong commercial outcomes.
You will need proven experience working with the following:
- Delivering procurements under the Procurement Act 2023 including the Central Digital Platform and new notice types
- Applying a range of procurement procedures to suit the complexity of each requirement
- Evidence-based decision making and strong business acumen in a commercial setting
- Stakeholder management and influencing at all levels written and verbal
- Public sector procurement legislation and relevant commercial frameworks
Experience in contract management e-procurement systems such as Jaggaer and driving improved outcomes through supplier and market engagement would be desirable.
