Our client a successful privately owned business is seeking a Financial Controller who can bring rigour influence and commercial clarity to a growing organisation.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Finance Director you will play a pivotal role in strengthening financial governance improving reporting quality and supporting strategic decisionmaking. This is a broad highimpact position suited to someone who enjoys both the technical depth of finance and the interpersonal influence required in a senior leadership setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and yearend financial statements
  
• Manage the audit process and liaise with external auditors
  
• Oversee VAT HMRC submissions and compliance requirements
  
• Maintain and improve financial controls processes and reporting standards
  
• Support budgeting forecasting and cashflow management
  
• Oversee payroll and ensure accuracy and compliance
  
• Provide financial insight to senior leaders and challenge assumptions where necessary
  
• Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and processes
  

Requirements

Were looking for a qualified or partqualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a strong grounding in accountancy practice particularly in preparing accounts for audit and managing compliance.
