Interim Management Accountant 3 Months initially Fixed Term Contract or Day Rate 40000 - 55000 DOE Leeds

This isnt a keep the seat warm fact the role could go beyond this and become permanent if you wanted.

Its a chance to walk into a a subsidiary of a well-regarded national business at a moment where things need tightening up properly understanding and quietly fixing by someone who knows what theyre doing.

Youll be working directly with a Head of Finance to help them navigate through the next few month ends helping bring clarity to the numbers structure to the processes and confidence ahead of audit.

What youll actually be doing

. Support in bringign together the next few monthly management accounts. Youll step in confidently handling accruals prepayments and reconciling sales and cost of sales without fuss.

Youll start by getting under the skin of the balance sheet.

There are historic issues that need unpicking nothing dramatic but they need someone methodical and commercially aware to investigate properly fix cleanly and make sure they dont happen again.

At the same time theres a real opportunity to improve how things work day-to-day.

This role isnt about ticking boxes.

Were looking for someone who:

• has strong management accounts experience
• Can spot whats not quite right and fix it properly
• Is comfortable dealing with messy or unclear historic data
• Brings a calm structured approach to work
• Understands how finance processesshouldwork in a growing business
• Can operate with a good level of independence while still being collaborative
• Studying towards or a qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant would be beneficial
