Optometrist Full Time Location: Milton Keynes Salary: Up to 70000 per annum
The Role The Medical People are recruiting on behalf of a client. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Optometrist to join a highly experienced clinical team in a modern Milton Keynes clinic. You will work alongside ophthalmologists and other eye care professionals contributing to the delivery of high-quality clinical services across a diverse patient base.
This role offers a varied clinical workload including:
Pre- and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients
Providing clinical support to ophthalmologists
Conducting essential and advanced eye examinations

Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
Ability to provide high-quality clinical care and patient-focused service
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in or willingness to develop within refractive and cataract services
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
Commitment to continuous professional development
Desirable (but not essential):
Independent Prescribing qualification (or willingness to undertake)
Previous experience in post-operative care or hospital/clinical settings
Experience working with advanced diagnostic equipment
