Salary: Up to 70000 per annum

The Role
The Medical People are recruiting on behalf of a client. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Optometrist to join a highly experienced clinical team in a modern Milton Keynes clinic. You will work alongside ophthalmologists and other eye care professionals contributing to the delivery of high-quality clinical services across a diverse patient base.

This role offers a varied clinical workload including:

  • Pre- and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients
  • Providing clinical support to ophthalmologists
  • Conducting essential and advanced eye examinations

Requirements

Requirements

  • Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
  • Ability to provide high-quality clinical care and patient-focused service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in or willingness to develop within refractive and cataract services
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
  • Commitment to continuous professional development

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Independent Prescribing qualification (or willingness to undertake)
  • Previous experience in post-operative care or hospital/clinical settings
  • Experience working with advanced diagnostic equipment
