Job Summary

Senior Frontend Software Engineer (React / TypeScript)

Location: Bristol UK
Working model: Hybrid 2 days onsite per week (mandatory)

Role Summary

We are seeking Senior Frontend Software Engineers to work within crossfunctional feature teams delivering frontend led capabilities for the Data Marketplace. The role focuses on building accessible highquality and welltested user interfaces on a cloudnative platform running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Engineers are expected to take strong technical ownership of frontend delivery contribute to technical direction and support other engineers within the team.

Skillsets required:

Primary focus on experienced Frontend Software Engineers with strong React expertise.
Proven experience building accessible testable scalable user interfaces.
Strong test-first mindset (TDD) and confidence writing automated tests.

Hands-on experience with:
* React JavaScript/TypeScript
* JestJS and modern frontend testing practices
* Accessibility standards (WCAG) and tooling (axe-core)

Desirable (bonus) skills:
* Backend development with Java / Quarkus
* Working with REST APIs and PostgreSQL
* DevOps exposure across CI/CD pipelines containers and Kubernetes

Experience operating at Senior level including:
* Technical ownership of solutions
* Coaching/mentoring other engineers
* Contributing to architectural and technical direction
