The Role
As a Personal Care Assistant youll be part of our clients dedicated support team providing essential care in their home. Youll be employed by HomeCareDirect but will focus solely on supporting this client.
This role is for 24 hours per week working flexible shifts Monday-Sunday to suit the needs of the client. So Flexability is required.
About the Client & Your Responsibilities
Our client is a woman in her 40s who lives with her parents and sister. She is looking for a Personal Assistant to help her with daily tasks and to enable her to live a fulfilling and enjoyable life. She has learning disabilities and epilepsy so requires assistance to ensure her safety and wellbeing. She enjoys spending time in the community which includes going out for drives visiting local parks and exploring nearby shops. She also enjoys an annual family holiday during this time support staff are not required to accompany her and may be requested to take annual leave.

Knowledge of providing support for individuals with epilepsy
An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this vacancy (expense to be met by HomeCareDirect)
Prepared to commit to long term care for one client in a person-centred way
Willing to be trained to CQC standards to meet the clients needs
Respect Company policies and procedures
Be reliable / non-judgemental / caring / responsible / compassionate
Committed to confidentiality and to treat the client with dignity and respect

Who Were Looking For Driver with a full UK driving licence and aged between 20yrs and 65yrs for insurance purposes Flexible to work between Monday Friday Comfortable providing full personal care support Sociable and adaptable to situations with the ability to learn quickly A compassionate reliable and committed individual Commitment to long-term person-centred care
