Join Our Team as a Full-Time Physiotherapist
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to deliver high-quality person-centred care to residents. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing mobility independence and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the impact of illness injury disability and inactivity on residents functional abilities.
Develop and implement individualised evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each residents goals and health status.
Deliver safe and effective interventions to relieve pain improve mobility strength balance and functional independence.
Provide rehabilitation following surgery fractures joint and spinal conditions accidents and strokes.
Monitor and evaluate progress using measurable outcomes to ensure optimal results.
Educate residents families and staff on mobility falls prevention and safe manual handling practices.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development initiatives.
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of resident-centred care
Requirements
Minimum of three years post-registration clinical experience as a Physiotherapist.
At least one years experience in the care of the elderly ideally within a nursing home or rehabilitation setting.
Evidence of ongoing Continuous Professional Development (CPD) relevant to physiotherapy practice.
Current registration with CORU (or eligibility to register) is essential.
Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy (required)
Minimum of 3 years post-registration clinical experience (required)
