Job Summary
Delivering high-quality personal care including support with mobility dressing bathing and toileting
Assisting residents with meals hydration and participation in daily activities
Providing companionship and emotional support to promote residents wellbeing dignity and independence
Monitoring recording and reporting residents observations and any changes in condition to nursing staff
Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary care team to maintain a safe respectful and supportive environment
Ensuring all care provided is accurately documented and maintained in line with confidentiality and data protection standards
Requirements
Compassionate reliable and positive attitude with a genuine interest in caring for older adults
Ideally one year or more experience in elder care or a similar care giving role (not essential)
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare completed or currently in progress
Fluent spoken and written English
Garda clearance and suitable character references
