RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct thorough and detailed patient assessments using appropriate clinical techniques and equipment
- Record patient information in line with ISCP/AOTI guidelines and local policies and procedures
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) including referring consultants to ensure agreed protocols are implemented
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and treatments to patients within defined cohorts
- Provide tailored advice based on each patients medical social and cultural circumstances
- Develop and implement treatment plans supporting patients in achieving their goals and targets
- Maintain accurate comprehensive and up-to-date electronic patient records in line with ISCP/AOTI standards of practice
Requirements
- CORU registration is essential
- 02 years of post-qualification experience is desirable
- Clinical experience in physiotherapy/occupational therapy with exposure to elderly care inpatient acute medical care or elective orthopaedics is preferred (but not essential)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must have own transport a full clean driving licence and a smartphone
- Demonstrates a passion for delivering patient-centred care within a dynamic multidisciplinary high-performance environment
