RESPONSIBILITIES
Support therapists in delivering effective patient-centred care programmes
Assist patients with activities of daily living mobility and rehabilitation exercises
Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to support and implement patient care plans
Prepare and maintain therapy areas and equipment
Assist in both individual and group therapy sessions
Monitor and report patient progress concerns or changes in condition
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Ensure a safe clean and supportive environment at all times
Communicate effectively with patients families and colleagues
Adhere to all health & safety infection control and organisational policies
Requirements
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support Nursing Studies or a related field
Previous experience in a healthcare or care support setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A compassionate patient-centred approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Comfortable following direction and working under supervision
Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Experience supporting therapy or care programmes is desirable
Basic IT skills for record-keeping and documentation
