Job Summary

Rheumatology Registrar Our Ladys Hospital Navan Co. Meath

Applications are invited to apply for the post of Registrar in Rheumatology commencing 13th July 2026 for a 12 month period.

Previous experience in Rheumatology is desirable but not essential.

MRCPI or equivalent is required.

The Rheumatology department is staffed by 3 consultants who are involved in pure Rheumatology with no General Internal Medicine commitment. This provides ample opportunity for supervised clinical training in Rheumatology. Please note that this post also includes a requirement to take part in the General Internal Medicine on-call roster to support the Internal Medicine Service.

FIXED TERM 39 HRS PER WEEK

Interested Applicants should:

Hold valid membership of the General division of the Irish Medical Council register.

Have previous clinical theory and practical experience in a similar post to that advertised

Hold International Police Clearance (for any previous residence outside of Republic of Ireland).

Be compliant with English Language requirements for NCHDs as per HSE HR Circular 022/2018 ( MRCPI or equivalent required

Rheumatology experience is desirable

Term of post is 12 months with possible view to extension
