Job Summary
On behalf of a Dublinheadquartered Renewable Energy client with a growing international footprint we are seeking to hire a Group / Intercompany Accountant to join their expanding finance team.
This is a key role within the corporate finance function offering the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders across the business while gaining broad exposure to group accounting intercompany transactions consolidations and multicurrency financial reporting in a fastgrowth energy sector environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and reconcile cost recharges across multiple intercompany entities.
- Processing and allocating invoices and bank payments in accordance with group structure and chart of accounts.
- Preparation and completion of the monthly close process ensuring on-time delivery of financial reporting.
- Bank reconciliations across multiple currencies and group entities.
- Reconciliation of accruals prepayments tax accounts and other balance sheet accounts.
- Responsible for preparation of intercompany loan and transfer pricing documentation and capital account maintenance.
- Work closely with third party providers and Joint venture partners to ensure reporting received is accurate and provided to the requisite levels.
- Preparation of Tax filings (VAT VIES ERR).
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA or equivalent) or partqualified with strong relevant experience.
- Proven experience in intercompany accounting group structures or consolidation environments.
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working across multiple systems and entities.
- Experience with multicurrency accounting and complex reconciliations.
- Highly detailoriented analytical and capable of working autonomously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across an international organisation.
