Senior Structural Engineer Remote

Our client a leading engineering organization is expanding its team and looking to add a Lead Structural Engineer to their team. This is a remote role for projects within the USA.

Your experience you bring will include:

• Proven experience in leading engineering teams.
  
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles codes and standards.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Experience with transmission station structures and overhead transmission lines with operating voltages not less than 115 kV
  
• Previous experience in the design of heavy industrial structures in the power industry
  

Your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the planning and execution of civil and structural engineering projects.
  
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technical staff.
  
• Ensure compliance with industry standards local codes and safety regulations.
  
• Collaborate with architects contractors and other stakeholders.
  
• Perform structural analysis and calculations.
  
• Prepare and review engineering plans specifications and reports.

Required Skills:

Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and be licensed to practice as a professional engineer in USA. Minimum of 10 years of experience in Structural Engineering.
