Job Summary
Director of Data & Analytics Consulting
As Director of Data & Analytics Consulting you will lead and develop a high-performing team responsible for delivering data-driven solutions to clients primarily within the financial services sector. You will define and execute data and analytics strategies that drive measurable business outcomes ensuring all engagements are delivered efficiently on time and to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mentor and manage a team of data and analytics consultants ensuring they are equipped with the skills tools and support needed to deliver impactful client solutions.
- Define and implement data and analytics strategies aligned with client business objectives.
- Conduct data maturity assessments to identify gaps opportunities and priorities and develop actionable data roadmaps.
- Establish and oversee data governance frameworks to enhance data quality accessibility security and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the design and delivery of data models pipelines and visualisations in line with best practices and client requirements.
- Drive the development of analytics capabilities including advanced analytics data science and AI to generate actionable insights.
- Ensure analytics solutions are effectively embedded into client business processes to maximise value.
- Manage project delivery including planning resourcing budgeting and quality assurance.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
Requirements
- Masters degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science Statistics Business Administration or similar).
- Extensive experience in data and analytics consulting or a related field including significant leadership experience within the insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of data strategy governance and modern data platforms and tools.
- Proven experience in data assessments governance frameworks data modelling pipelines and visualisation.
- Experience in advanced analytics including data science machine learning and AI.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage at all organisational levels.
- Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages (e.g. Dutch or French) are advantageous.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g. CDA CBIP) are a plus.
Required Skills:
Masters degree in Business Engineering Innovation Strategy or other relevant degree. A minimum of 4 years of experience in strategy consulting telecommunications or a related -depth knowledge of the telecommunications sector including technology trends and market dynamics. Strong analytical problem-solving and strategic thinking skills. Exceptional communication negotiation and client-facing skills. Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling. Fluency in English Dutch and French.
