Job Summary
Responsible for a minimum of three daily runs between Lab and Farm locations. Responsible for completing the inter-facility meet to Coopersburg PA every other week. Other client deliveries or trips as required. Maintenance tasks such as painting changing light bulbs and other light maintenance duties.
2.0 Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
3.0 Position Requirements:
Note: Qualifications are based upon education resume and/or work experience.
3.1 Must be licensed for at least three years and have a clean driving record.
3.2 Good organizational skills required.
3.3 Must be able to lift and transport materials.
3.4 Basic maintenance skills required.
4.0 Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
4.1 Must complete daily runs on time and according to established requirements.
4.2 Complete monthly vehicle maintenance checklist.
4.3 Safe and timely transportation of products between facilities.
4.4 Self-starter capable of managing multiple projects and/or assignments.
4.5 Coordinate and assist with snow and ice removal in the winter months.
4.6 Other duties as assigned.
5.0 Education:
5.1 High school diploma or equivalent required.
6.0 Physical Requirements:
6.1 This position is very active and requires standing walking bending kneeling stooping and crouching at various times throughout the day.
6.2 Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
6.3 Must be able to travel to other Lampire facilities as needed.
6.4 Sitting for longer periods of time while driving between locations
7.0 Working Conditions:
7.1 Extremes of temperature including heat in summer months and cold in winter months.
7.2 Excessive walking may be required.
