Warehouse Lead

Primary Duties:

• Coordinate receiving storing and shipping of products while maintaining a well-organized and safe warehouse environment.
• Allocate distribute pull/pick product in proper location.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement to ensure stock availability.
• Package and stage materials or products for shipping (shrink wrapping boxing labeling).
• Assist with inventory control and cycle counting.
• Administer quality control ensuring damaged product is not received or sent.
• Build hose assemblies and assist with testing and finishing if applicable.
• Supervises the day-to-day functions within the department including employee and customer relations during their shift.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Must possess basic reading writing and arithmetic skills.
• Detail oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
• Decision making analytical thinking project management and planning skills.
• Basic computer skills required including use of MS Office (Word Excel & Outlook) with a willingness to learn new software programs. Experience with Epicor Prophet 21 a plus.
• Mechanical background and forklift certification are a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Job requires frequent lifting up to 70 pounds stooping reaching above shoulder level pushing pulling constantly walking/standing on cement flooring and climbing ladders as needed.
• Working conditions involve a fast-paced warehouse environment containing moving equipment fluctuating temperature and inventory in various storage arrangements.

Salary:

$22.00 - $25.00/hourly depending on experience.
